Most people think of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as a one-time TV tradition. But in Orlando, anything is possible! Once the legendary parade ends in New York City, many of the spectacular balloons and floats are sent to Universal Studios Florida. Universal hosts its very own Universal Studios Holiday Parade featuring marching bands, clowns, and an appearance from Santa himself.
Parades take place throughout December and early January.
Dec. 7 – 25 at 5PM
Dec. 26 – 31 at 8PM
Jan. 1 – 4 at 5PM
Right next door to the parade is Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Once there, you’ll be able to find the music and festivities of Grinchmas, a heartwarming live show starring the mean green one himself. During the holiday season, Seuss’s Landing at the Islands of Adventure is transformed into a wintry wonderland, filled with a cast of Who-ville Who residents. A dozen of these joyful characters can be found at anytime romping through the park, spreading their unique version of holiday cheer.
